Miami’s South Beach loved by Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan as celebrities head to the floridian city

MIAMI is one of the most popular cities in USA with beautiful sunshine, incredible food and loved by celebrities around the world.

The city attracts millions to its eastern Florida home every year, not least during the Miami F1 Grand Prix, where A-listers and superfans get the chance to mingle with the best drivers on the planet.

But the pinnacle is South Beach, which has seen its fair share of celebrities roaming the sandy shores and gazing out to the Atlantic Ocean.

The likes of singer Enrique Iglesias, LA Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and rapper Sean Combs – or P Diddy – are among those with homes located on the exclusive Star Island in the neighbourhood of South Beach.

Meanwhile, reality star Kim Kardashian is among a wealth of celebrities that have been spotted on its shores over the years, much to the delight of onlookers.

The Skims founder and former wife of Kanye West was pictured on South Beach’s golden sands in 2007, where she would have been able to enjoy the 2.5-mile long coastline.

The tourist hotspot sits on the south side of the Miami Beach island, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.

It is among the most popular in the area, if not across the whole of Florida, with surfing, snorkelling and yachting all enjoyed.

Meanwhile, others prefer to soak up the sunshine and relax in Miami’s blazing heat, including the likes of model Caprice, and actresses Lindsay Lohan and Michelle Rodriguez

With many other celebrities living and having business interests in the city, not least ex-England footballer and Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham, plenty of famous faces will have graced the sands of South Beach.

But it is not just the shoreline that attracts visitors, with the majority backed onto by Lummus Park, which has seen Justin Bieber entertain crowds during a mini set for CBS News.

The 74-acre park has been used in numerous television shows from Miami Vice to Burn Notice, while the sidewalk was inspired by Copacabana Beach’s in Rio de Janeiro.

Either side of Lummus Park, the biggest hotel chains line the beachfront at South Beach including The Savoy and Marriott, while the famous Nikki Beach club holds weekly parties, attracting the world’s best DJs.

And then there is the incredible food and fancy restaurants.

Prime 112 and Carbone among the most popular eateries for celebrities, with the likes of Kanye West, Drake Leonardo DiCaprio and LeBron James all visiting the high-end establishments – and both are within a five-minute walk of the beach.

So head to South Beach, soak up the sun, enjoy the vibes – and be on the lookout for the rich and famous.
